Course of activity
step 1
Presentation from the expert about the need for good nutrition for a healthy and enjoyable life. During the session students will learn about the importance of individual health and nutritional needs to help them with a healthy lifestyle and improving mental concentration.
- Introduction of the expert
- What does a dietician do as a profession
- Food and the immediate and long-term effect on our mind and body
- Nutritional needs to help with a healthy lifestyle
- What does your body need to thrive in daily activities (learning in school, being active in sports, hobby’s etc.)
- What does a balanced diet include
- What does an expert recommend for snacking(habits)
step 2
Students will then present their findings about snack habits around the world and misleading packing to the dietician.
step 3
The dietician will respond to students’ questions prepared during the previous Learning Units.
step 4
Expert and students will then discuss how what they have learned today may impact the way they snack in the future.
