Δράση

step 1

Students will build a model of their school's neighbourhood out of waste materials.

step 2

Different stations should be set up around the workshop to work on the model; clearly defining the places e.g. building, cutting, painting, glueing etc.

step 3

Students will plan the shape of the mock-up together, decide which elements are obligatory, which are optional and which are not to be included in the work at all. They will need to interpret the map data (or use Google Earth) to do this.

​​​​​​Build the model according to the plan, guiding students on the different elements of spatial development in order to achieve the objectives. Consider buildings, infrastructure or utilities, green spaces and transportation elements.
