Course of activity
step 1
Reflect on the laser-cut portraits and the transition from 2D to 3D form.
step 2
Explain that students will be making an exhibition of all their artwork in the local library, for visitors to come and learn about art.
step 3
Travel to the library and take a tour through the building to see where the exhibition will be built.
step 4
Plan and build the exhibition. Students should work together to think about how their artworks should be displayed and what information should be shared with the audience.
step 5
After completing the exhibition, reflect on the final result in a discussion and by filling in a survey about what they’ve learnt (see resources).
step 6
Students can invite family to visit the exhibition.
