step 1
Listen to a presentation from industry partner Harri, an employee at the Ellen MacArthur foundation, who will describe how they are trying to reduce waste in the fashion industry (e.g. waste fabric, waste from dying/colouring).

In groups, students will decide on questions to ask experts.
step 3
The industry expert will respond to students’ questions.
step 4
Students will then discuss solutions showing how what they saw may impact the way the school processes its waste or how school waste could be reused.

Students will then take part in a workshop to learn about the concept of a circular economy in a hands-on way. The challenge put to students is: How can we harness our creativity to build a better future?
step 6
They will explore how the circular economy can help us reimagine spaces and places where communities, businesses, and nature can flourish.
step 7
Finally, students are encouraged to bring their ideas to life using LEGO bricks.
